Gracie kindled in the night (8 kits, we think, all round bellied and healthy), and Rhetta probably will tonight. Much longer post on this topic coming tomorrow. But before I go, look how big the Impulse Chickens are getting!
Poor critters are in the middle ground just now, between chick and pullet, what I like to call the skeksis stage. They’ll be taking their electric hen and moving to the outside brooder today. I will miss the constant peeping chorus from the sun room, but not poop-scooping their tub everyday.
